Dr. Shahbaz Gill, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Political Communication, asked the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to take action against internet service providers who were offering poor internet service to customers.
The PM’s aide was replying to a PTA tweet in which the organisation responded to an internet user’s complaint.
The user made the point that internet service providers in Pakistan overcharge their clients while providing poor service. The PTA responded by urging the client to make a complaint by calling the PTA’s consumer care centre, which is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
