On Monday, a meeting was held chaired by Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah at Sindh Secretariat regarding making Tharparkar’s Mai Bakhtawar Airport operational, briefings on its operations were done in the meeting.
Commissioner Mirpurkhas Syed Ijaz Ali Shah, G=DG Civil Aviation Authority Khaqan Murtaza and other officers attended the meeting.
Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah said in the meeting that state-of-art airport in Islamkot has to be set up by Sindh Govt. and by activating the airport. People working in Thar coalfield and people living there, both will get benefits.
