The Energizer Hard Case G5 is the first 5G rugged phone from the company

A new Energizer tough smartphone has been released, and it supports 5G, which is a first for the company. Avenir Telecom, a licensee for the Energizer brand, manufactures the Energizer Hard Case G5.

A 6.3-inch FHD IPS display with a waterdrop notch and Gorilla Glass 5 protection is included on the Energizer Hard Case G5. The bezels aren’t the thinnest, particularly the lower one. To cushion shocks when it falls, the device includes a rubberized body with reinforced corners.

A Dimensity 720 CPU with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage powers the Energizer Hard Case G5. A MicroSD card slot is available for storage expansion. The cameras include a 48MP main sensor, a 13MP ultrawide angle camera, and a 20MP night camera with an infrared illuminator near the 48MP sensor at the bottom that enables for nighttime images.

The phone has a 5000mAh battery that can be charged through USB-C. The device does not have an audio jack, however it does have an FM radio. It also has NFC, dual SIM compatibility, and a fingerprint scanner on the back. The Hard Case G5 is rated IP69.

The phone comes pre-installed with Android 11. According to reports, the phone will be available in the fourth quarter of this year for $600.
