The First Island of Saudi Arabia’s Amazing Project is Nearing Completion

In Saudi Arabia, an amazing construction project called Neom is under way.

It should be noted that Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s plan to expand the Saudi economy in various sectors was announced in 2017, and an area of 10,000 square miles was set aside for this project in Saudi Arabia’s remote northwestern region. Sandala Island will be the first to welcome visitors as part of the $500 billion Neom project.

In fact, the island is expected to open to the public for tourism in 2024, providing visitors with their first glimpse of the Neom project.

This island’s unique feature is its pleasant weather all year, despite its size of 840,000 square meters.

The island will be finished ahead of other Neom projects, including The Line City, and will be linked to all of them.

Sandala, according to Neom’s Chief Urban Planning Officer Antony Vives, will provide easy access to The Line, which will house more than 1 million people by 2030.

He stated that the transport network will also allow access from Sandala to other locations in Neom.

It should be noted that The Line will be a construction city spanning 106 miles.

Sandala will be a Red Sea luxury resort with three resorts, a yacht club, and other amenities.

It should be noted that Saudi Arabia anticipates that after the Neom project is completed, 100 million tourists will visit its various parts each year, generating billions of dollars in revenue.

The cities that will be built in Neom will be run by AI systems, will use robots, flying taxis, and will include an artificial moon.
