There has been no news about Morris Garages (MG) Pakistan’s impending electric vehicles for quite some time until Javed Afridi published a preview for the next MG Marvel R SUV on his official Twitter account.
The new MG Marvel R is a futuristic-looking electric SUV that will compete with top-tier competitors such as Tesla, Volkswagen, Hyundai, Kia, and others.
The Marvel R is powered by three electric motors, two of which are located in the front and one in the back. These three electric motors have a combined horsepower of 288 and torque of 665 Nm. A 70kWh lithium-ion battery pack powers the SUV.
However, because to its greater weight and increased power consumption, the rear-wheel-drive variant has a range of 402 kilometres, while the all-wheel-drive variant has a range of 370 kilometres.
Despite its futuristic appearance, the SUV is loaded with modern features like a 9.1-inch touchscreen system, different driver-assist functions, a leather-trimmed interior, and a comprehensive list of driver and passenger comfort features.
Because it is an upmarket device, the Marvel R now costs roughly $47,720. The top-of-the-line model costs about $60,000. (an incredibly expensive amount in Pakistani currency). It should be recalled, however, that the Marvel R was already in Pakistan two months ago for testing. In a nutshell, the Marvel R is something that Pakistani buyers would eagerly anticipate.
