After Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s notice regarding the flour crisis in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, there was a significant reduction of Rs 700 in a 20 kg bag in the market.
In Peshawar, a bag of 20 kg flour started selling for Rs 2,600 from Rs 3,300, but on the other hand, the stubbornness of bread makers continues. The bread makers automatically increased the price of bread. Despite the reduction in flour prices, they are selling bread worth Rs 20 for Rs 30.
The district administration has fixed the price of 120 grams of bread at Rs 20, but bread makers is selling bread at arbitrary rates. The administration decided to crack down on bread makers for violating orders.
