The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued instructions to all stakeholders to take timely measures to make people aware of the weather conditions, including caution and preparedness in view of the possible weather conditions.
According to the Meteorological Department, the westerly winds entering the country will continue to be present in the upper and central areas today.
The Meteorological Department has directed all the concerned agencies to remain alert during this time. Meanwhile, the National Disaster Management Authority has issued a weather advisory based on the forecast of the Meteorological Department, in which all the concerned stakeholders have been instructed to initiate proactive measures in view of the possible situation. In addition, the preparedness and awareness of the concerned populations should be ensured at all levels.
