Today commemorates the third anniversary of “Operation Swift Retort,” in which Pakistan’s Armed Forces responded appropriately to India’s failed misadventure.
In a tweet today, DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar stated that Pakistan Armed Forces’ achievements in shooting down two Indian fighter planes, detecting an Indian submarine at sea by Pakistan Navy, and delivering a resounding response at the Line of Control by Pak Army are testaments to the professionalism and determination of Pakistan Armed Forces to defend the motherland.
According to the DG ISPR, success in the face of adversity is defined not by weaponry or numbers, but by a nation’s resolve and the operational preparedness of its armed forces.
