Tomorrow, the ‘New’ Honda City will make its debut in Pakistan

The 6th generation Honda City will make its debut in Pakistan tomorrow, according to Honda Atlas Cars Limited (HACL) (29 July).

The company’s Chief Financial Officer made the statement during a corporate conference earlier today. He also stated that a complete list of features and prices for various models will be released tomorrow.

The company’s performance in terms of yearly vehicle sales and financial progress during the previous fiscal year were also discussed during the conference.

HACL stated during the meeting that it is now running at full capacity in double shifts and that it has set a goal of selling between 8,000 and 9,000 units every quarter over the next three to four quarters.

Furthermore, auto finance accounts for 48% of its sales, and this number is rising as auto financing has become the new norm as a result of enormous price rises and lower interest rates on automobile loans.

During the discussion, it was also disclosed that HACL has a commendable localization rate of 51% in its models and is always working to improve it.

Officials from the firm revealed that they are considering incorporating electric vehicles (Evs) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) in their lineup, but that they are waiting for the EV and HEV policies to become “more consistent.”

Due to global supply chain challenges such as a shortage of semiconductor microchips and a significant spike in freight prices over the last several days, the company revealed that it is only creating a limited number of vehicle units.
