Top Tax Payers, Exporters to get Blue Passport, Honorary Ambassadors Status, PM Shehbaz

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has promised to make the country’s economy stronger and help it grow gradually.

He talked about this during an event in Islamabad where he was giving out awards for excellent tax performance. He said that it’s important for everyone to work together to increase exports and reduce the country’s debt.

Sharif also talked about the government’s plans to improve different sectors like industries, agriculture, and technology. He said that these improvements are needed for the country’s economy to get better.

He mentioned that even though the government might need help from the IMF (International Monetary Fund) to keep the economy stable, they are still focused on making the economy grow, creating more jobs, and dealing with high prices.

He also mentioned how the federal and provincial governments are working together to help businesses and solve their problems.

Sharif said that the government has already given back a lot of money to exporters, and they will continue to do so in the future. He also said that they want to make electricity cheaper for industries so that they can produce more.

He talked about making it easier for people to invest in the country by creating a Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and by working on the second phase of CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor).

Sharif also mentioned plans to change how taxes are collected by completely changing the FBR (Federal Board of Revenue) and by using technology to collect taxes.

He praised the top taxpayers and exporters for their contributions to the country and announced some rewards for them. This includes giving them special passports and cards, as well as honorary ambassador status. These rewards are meant to encourage people to pay their taxes on time.
