Toyota tells Customer ‘4-Year Delivery Time’ for New Land Cruiser

There was a rumour last year that Toyota had received so many orders for the new Land Cruiser that it would take four years to meet the existing demand.

Now, the company has confirmed the extended wait by apologising for the SUV on its Japanese website.

The message is translated as follows: “Thank you so much for taking the time to contemplate and order one of our vehicles. In Japan and around the world, the Land Cruiser has been warmly welcomed. We regret that delivering the Land Cruiser to you after you place an order will take a lengthy time. Please accept our heartfelt apologies. ”

If you place an order right now, it could take up to four years to arrive. We will do everything possible to reduce the time it takes for our customers to get their orders. We appreciate your patience in this situation. ”

Within a few months of the new Land Cruiser’s release, Toyota announced that there was such high demand that waiting times would be around a year.

Since then, it appears that even more people have expressed interest in the new SUV.

The new Land Cruiser will not be available in the United States. With four years’ worth of demand, the corporation doesn’t appear to have much motivation to reconsider its mind.

The Lexus LX, on the other hand, will be available in the United States in the first quarter of 2022.
