Travel from Dubai to Sharjah on a Ferry in Just Dh15

Starting from Friday, August 4, people can travel between Dubai and Sharjah on a ferry for as little as Dh15. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai announced the resumption of the Dubai Ferry service, which will run seven days a week.

This service was first introduced in 2019 but was temporarily stopped due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The ferry will take passengers between Dubai and Sharjah in just 35 minutes.

The ferry schedule from Monday to Thursday includes 8 trips a day. From Sharjah, there are two morning trips at 7 am and 8:30 am, and two evening trips at 4:45 pm and 6:15 pm. From Dubai, there is one morning trip at 7:45 am and three evening trips at 4 pm, 5:30 pm, and 7 pm.

On Fridays to Sundays, there will be 6 trips a day. From Sharjah, the ferry departs at 2 pm, 4 pm, and 6 pm. From Dubai, the ferry departs at 3 pm, 5 pm, and 8 pm.

The ticket prices are Dh15 for Silver Class, Dh25 for Gold Class, and it’s free for People of Determination and children under the age of five.

To purchase tickets, you have two options. You can book tickets online in advance through the website and pay with your credit or debit card. Alternatively, you can buy tickets at the service counters in the marine stations and pay with your nol card. This new ferry service provides an affordable and convenient way for people to travel between Dubai and Sharjah.
