Turkish Airline’s Plane Escapes Crash at Lahore Airport

While taking off at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore, a plane belonging to a foreign carrier sustained damage after being struck by a bird, according to reports.

Flight TK-715, operated by Turkish Airlines, was on its route to Istanbul when the tragedy occurred. There were 359 passengers on board.

The pilot was successful in returning the jet to the airport in a safe manner. Upon arrival at the international departure lounge, all passengers were relocated.

According to accounts, the flight was later indefinitely postponed as well as the passengers were instructed to return home. The passengers, on the other hand, refused to deliver and organized a demonstration in the lounge, asking that the airline provide them with hotel accommodations.

The Terminal Police Unit dispatched reinforcements in order to prevent the passengers from resuming their demonstration..
