After rebranding Twitter by replacing the well-known blue bird logo with a new X logo, Elon Musk now posted that ‘tweets’ will be referred to as ‘X’s’.
While replying to a tweet asking after Twitter rebranding, what would be the tweets called now, Musk replied with ‘X’s’.
The famous blue bird logo had been in use since 2010. Musk stated that the new X logo is meant to be ‘minimalist art deco’, and may change again in the future.
Elon Musk, known for his fondness for the letter X in branding like Space X, has chosen the alphabet again for his planned ‘everything app’. This app is intended to incorporate various functionalities, including payments, messaging, and AI-powered features, inspired by China’s all-in-one platform, We Chat.
Twitter’s rebranding coincides with the launch of Threads, a competitor of Twitter, which has seen rapid growth.
