Two fake doctors were caught doing surgery at a private hospital near Hussainabad Chowk in Bahawalnagar. Health officials discovered this during a surprise inspection. It turned out that both individuals had no medical licenses and admitted that they were hired by the hospital’s owner. Shockingly, the owner himself is also not qualified and is currently on the run.
The hospital where these surgeries were taking place had been operating illegally for several years. This wasn’t the first time authorities had taken action—there were past raids too—but the facility continued to run. After this latest inspection, the hospital was finally sealed, and all patients were safely moved to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for proper care.
Health officials have expressed serious concern, stating that many other clinics in the area are also operating without certified doctors. These unregistered and unsafe facilities are putting patients’ lives at risk. The authorities have promised to continue their crackdown to make sure people receive safe and legal medical treatment.
