Two Indian expats have emerged as winners in Dubai’s Mahzooz Draw, transforming their fortunes. Sachin, a long term Dubai resident, secured Dh20 million after investing Dh25,000 in draws. Meanwhile, Gowtham, a 27-year-old project engineer, claimed Dh1 million after spending Dh600.
Sachin, a 47-year-old CAD technician from Mumbai, attributed his luck to his pet kitten. Moreover, he intends to dedicate a portion of his prize money to his children’s education.
Gowtham, residing in the UAE for four years, expressed his joy upon learning of his Dh1 million triumph. He aims to construct a home for his parents in his hometown using the prize money.
The popularity of the Mahzooz Draw has led to the emergence of 55 millionaires, with a total prize money distribution of Dh450 million. Impressively, more than 105,000 Indian nationals have each won Dh164,000 through these draws.
Suzan Kazzi, Head of Communications and CSR at EWINGS, acknowledged the substantial participation and success of the Indian community in the Mahzooz Draw.
