UAE Ranked Among the World’s Top 10 Powerful Countries for the First Time

The Global Soft Power Index 2023, which was issued on Thursday, places the UAE among the top 10 soft power heavyweights in the world for the first time. The UAE is the only Middle Eastern country to make the list.

A group of world leaders and personalities, including former Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven and former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, made the statement during the annual Global Soft Power Conference, which was hosted in the British capital of London.

The UAE has made outstanding growth across all major and sub-indicators, reflecting the distinctive position the nation has attained and making it one of the most developed nations in the world in terms of positive impact and excellent reputation.

Your Highness,Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, applauded the UAE’s latest ranking among the top 10 soft powers in the world.

The index is a research study that Brand Finance, a brand evaluation firm, conducts every year to gauge consumer impressions of 121 national brands in more than 100 regions throughout the world.

The performance of the UAE stands out in the top 10, which has seen little significant change. The Emirates earned the highest score of any Middle Eastern nation brand for the fourth year in a row, but this year’s gain of +3.2 to 55.2 has resulted in a jump of five positions, allowing it to claim the 10th position in the global ranking for the first time.
