The University of Karachi signed an agreement with NTS Logistics on Wednesday to provide a custom-built electric shuttle service on campus.
NTS Logistics will supply 6 to 23 seater roofless vans under the terms of the memorandum of understanding, with the number of vehicles growing in response to demand.
Students, faculty, and administrative staff will be able to use the eco-friendly service at any time of the day, with a fixed minimum fare.
The electric shuttle service will be available at all entrances, and the university will have charging stations and electric vehicle parking.
