US Announces Extra Security for Pak vs India T20 World Cup Match on June 9

The USA has announced increased security measures for the India vs. Pakistan match at the T20 World Cup 2024. This match is being considered a high-risk event, marking the first time the USA is co-hosting the tournament.

Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman emphasized the importance of these measures. The game will see a large deployment of security forces, including the Nassau County Police Department, New York State Police, FBI, and Customs and Border Patrol. All these agencies will be on high alert to ensure the safety of everyone involved.

Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder has confirmed that this will be the largest security operation in the county’s history. The heightened security is necessary given the significance of the event and the large number of fans expected to attend.

Both India and Pakistan are scheduled to play matches in New York during the tournament, which adds to the need for stringent security measures. The authorities are taking all possible precautions to manage the crowd and prevent any incidents.

The T20 World Cup 2024 co-hosted by the USA promises to be an exciting event, and the authorities are committed to ensuring it is safe for all participants and spectators.
