Veteran Pakistani television actor Shabbir Rana passed away in Karachi after a prolonged illness.
Azlan Shah, son of veteran actor Shabbir Rana, confirmed his father’s death on Instagram.
According to the report, veteran actor Shabbir Rana of the Pakistan TV industry was suffering from a heart disease for a long time, he suffered a heart attack during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, after which he was brought to the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases where he was undergoing treatment for several days.
The late Shabbir Rana acted in television dramas for more than four decades, including Various dramas including Mehmoodabad Ki Mulkain, Imprisonment of Loneliness, Behad, Love Life Hai and others.
Azlan Shah, in a message released on Instagram, appealed for the father’s forgiveness and said that his funeral prayer will be offered today (Sunday) after Asr Rahmania Mosque Tariq Road.
Shabbir Rana was associated with the advertising industry for a long time, while he also directed numerous TV commercials, later joined the drama industry as an actor.
