Virat Kohli Becomes Fastest Player to Reach 27,000 International Runs

On the fourth day of India’s second Test against Bangladesh at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur, Virat Kohli made history by becoming the fastest cricketer to score 27,000 international runs. This impressive achievement came on a Monday during the match.

Kohli broke the previous record held by the legendary Sachin Tendulkar. Tendulkar had reached the 27,000-run milestone in 623 innings, while Kohli accomplished the same in just 594 innings, making it an extraordinary feat.

Other notable players who have crossed the 27,000-run mark include former Australian captain Ricky Ponting and Sri Lankan cricket legend Kumar Sangakkara. Kohli’s achievement adds to his legacy as one of the greatest cricketers of all time.
