Punjab has launched Juvenile Driving Permit services through e-Khidmat Centers, making it more convenient for eligible teenagers to begin the process of obtaining a legal driving permit. The initiative is designed to simplify public services while encouraging young motorists to adopt responsible driving habits and comply with traffic regulations from the very beginning of their driving journey.
Under the new system, applicants who meet the prescribed age and eligibility requirements can visit designated e-Khidmat Centers to apply for their Juvenile Driving Permit through a more streamlined and efficient process. By expanding access to licensing services, the Punjab government aims to reduce administrative hurdles, improve service delivery, and make the application process quicker and more accessible for citizens across the province.
Officials have emphasized the importance of responsible driving and are encouraging young applicants to complete all legal requirements, understand traffic rules, and prioritize road safety before taking to the roads. The initiative reflects Punjab’s broader commitment to modernizing public services through digital and citizen-focused solutions while promoting safer roads and a more organized licensing system for future drivers.
