‘We Are Establishing Pakistan’s first AI University’ Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has unveiled an ambitious plan to establish Pakistan’s first artificial intelligence (AI) university in the province within the next five years. This initiative aims to bring a transformative change to the education system, placing a strong emphasis on advanced technology and innovation.During a ceremony in Lahore honoring the province’s top students, she announced the revival of the popular laptop scheme and revealed plans to distribute 30,000 electric bikes to students.

These efforts are part of a broader strategy to support and empower the youth.In addition, the government has launched a 25 billion rupee scholarship program that will cover tuition fees for top-performing students, ensuring that financial barriers do not stand in the way of academic excellence. Maryam Nawaz specifically commended the 70 boys and 68 girls who were among the 138 top position holders recognized at the event.As part of her ongoing commitment to improving the lives of the people in Punjab, she also introduced a free milk program for children in Southern Punjab, aimed at enhancing nutrition and health in the region.

Furthermore, Maryam Nawaz defended the government’s recent two-month electricity relief plan, emphasizing its importance in providing much-needed support to the public. She also provided a glimpse into an upcoming solar project that is expected to further benefit the province. These initiatives highlight her focus on education, technology, and the well-being of the people of Punjab.
