After the announcement of national cricketer Azhar Ali’s retirement, captain Babar Azam and all-rounder Shadab Khan paid tribute to him through tweets.
Captain Babar Azam shared a picture of himself and Azhar Ali hugging each other and wrote, “A great career is coming to an end. I learned a lot playing with you.” Babar further wrote in the tweet, “Happy Retirement, Ajo Bhai.”
Apart from this, Shadab Khan shared a picture of Azhar Ali in his tweet, congratulated him, and wrote, “Congratulations to you on a wonderful career; there are few ideal personalities like you.”
Shadab wrote, “I have learned a lot from you, and we would never have won the Champions Trophy without you; you are a true legend of Pakistan.”
