We have to Learn to Live Without IMF: Ishaq Dar

We now need to learn how to survive without the IMF, according to Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.

The finance minister expressed his hopes that the board meeting and the IMF programme will both be signed soon in a statement.

He claimed that Pakistan is not destined to fail, that its external debt has been cut by $4 billion, that the country’s deterioration has been halted, and that it now has to be entirely reversed.

According to Ishaq Dar, the GDP grew by 126 billion dollars between 2013 and 2018, but only by 26 billion dollars over the previous five years.
