Wildlife Park Project Announces Multiple Job Positions in Pakistan

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced several job openings under the project titled “Extension of an Existing Wildlife Park in D.I. Khan.” These positions, offered on a contractual basis, are in line with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Project Implementation Policy 2022. The project aims to enhance wildlife conservation efforts and provide employment opportunities to eligible candidates domiciled in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Available Positions and Eligibility Criteria

The following positions have been announced, along with their qualifications and age limits:

1. Veterinary Officer (BPS-17)

  • No. of Posts: 1
  • Eligibility: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) with at least a second division from a recognized university and registration with the Pakistan Veterinary Medicine Council.
  • Age Limit: 18-28 years

2. Assistant Civil Engineer (BPS-17)

  • No. of Posts: 1
  • Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (minimum second division) from an HEC-recognized university, preferably with experience in zoo or recreational park projects. Must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
  • Age Limit: 18-35 years

3. Computer Operator (BPS-16)

  • No. of Posts: 1
  • Eligibility:
    • Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Information Technology (4 years) or M.Sc. in Computer Science.
    • Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with a one-year IT diploma from a recognized Board of Technical Education.
  • Age Limit: 20-30 years

4. Deputy Ranger Wildlife (BPS-11)

  • No. of Posts: 1
  • Eligibility: F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) with at least second division.
  • Age Limit: 18-30 years

5. Veterinary Assistant (BPS-10)

  • No. of Posts: 1
  • Eligibility: Intermediate with a two-year Veterinary Assistant Training Certificate from a recognized institute.
  • Age Limit: 18-30 years

6. Junior Clerk (BPS-11)

  • No. of Posts: 1
  • Eligibility: FA/F.Sc. (minimum second division) and typing speed of 30 words per minute.
  • Age Limit: 18-30 years

7. Wildlife Watcher (BPS-07)

  • No. of Posts: 4
  • Eligibility: Intermediate (minimum second division) with physical fitness criteria:
    • Height: 5 feet 6 inches
    • Chest: 34-36 inches
    • Eye Sight: 6/6 (with glasses)
    • Must complete a 2 km marathon within 20 minutes.
  • Age Limit: 18-30 years

8. Driver (BPS-06)

  • No. of Posts: 1
  • Eligibility: Preferably literate with a valid LTV driving license and three years’ driving experience.
  • Age Limit: 20-40 years

9. Sweeper (BPS-03)

  • No. of Posts: 1
  • Eligibility: Preferably literate and local.
  • Age Limit: 18-40 years

10. Chowkidar (BPS-03)

  • No. of Posts: 2
  • Eligibility: Preferably literate and local.
  • Age Limit: 18-40 years

11. Naib Qasid (BPS-03)

  • No. of Posts: 2
  • Eligibility: Preferably literate and local.
  • Age Limit: 18-40 years

Terms and Conditions

  1. Application Process:
    • Candidates for posts 1-8 must apply online through the ETEA website.
    • For posts 9-11, applications with attested documents must be submitted directly to the Project Director’s office.
  2. Screening and Shortlisting:
    • Screening tests will be conducted by ETEA, and only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
    • Passing marks for the screening test are 40%.
  3. Contractual Nature of Jobs:
    • Appointments are project-based and governed by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Project Implementation Policy 2022.
    • Employment may be terminated upon project completion or due to unsatisfactory performance.
  4. General Instructions:
    • Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.
    • No age relaxation is permissible.
    • Government employees must apply through proper channels.
    • No TA/DA will be provided for tests or interviews.

  • Online applications will be available from November 25, 2024, on the ETEA website (www.etea.edu.pk).
  • Candidates must submit the application fee via EasyPaisa, JazzCash, or UBL Bank.
  • The last date for online submission is December 20, 2024.
