Wildlife & Parks Department Announces Jobs in Pakistan

The Wildlife and Parks Department of Punjab, Pakistan, has announced job vacancies for the project titled “Punjab Wildlife Census.” The positions are purely contract-based, continuing until the completion of the project based on satisfactory performance. This initiative aims to enhance wildlife management and conservation efforts in the province.

Available Position

The department is looking for suitable candidates to fill the position of Wildlife Supervisor. Here are the details regarding the job:

  • BPS: 20-25 years
  • Number of Posts: 1
  • Age Limit: 20-25 years
  • Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Zoology is required.
  • Appointing Authority: Director General, Wildlife & Parks, Punjab.

Application Process

Interested candidates with a domicile in Punjab are invited to submit their applications. Here are the important steps for applying:

  1. Submission Deadline: Applications must be submitted by September 30, 2024. They should be sent via registered post or courier service to the office of the Project In-charge at Punjab Wildlife & Parks Department, 2-Sanda Road, Lahore. Applications submitted by hand will not be accepted.
  2. Eligibility: The positions are open to all candidates from Punjab, and they may be assigned to any station within the province.
  3. Government Employees: Those currently employed in government or semi-government departments must apply through the proper channels and provide a No Objection Certificate (N.O.C.) from their competent authority.
  4. Required Documents: Applications must be submitted on plain paper and should include:
  • Attested photocopies of academic degrees and certificates
  • Experience certificates
  • Domicile
  • Computerized National Identity Card
  • Two recent photographs
  1. Incomplete Applications: Any applications that are incomplete or submitted after the deadline will be rejected.

Selection Process

The recruitment process will follow the contract appointment rules and policies established in 2004. After a thorough review of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be invited for tests and interviews. Notifications will be sent via letter, SMS, or call. Importantly, no travel allowance (T.A.) or daily allowance (D.A.) will be provided for attending the test or interview.
