Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ramiz Raja declared on Wednesday that he will not “relax” until Pakistan achieves world-class status and defeats Australia on home soil.
In Karachi, the former Pakistan captain and PCB chairman addressed a press conference alongside newly appointed CEO Faisal Hasnain.
Raja discussed a variety of topics, including the low turnout for the recent Pakistan-West Indies series, the need for permanent coaches, and team selection.
The squad was on an amazing trajectory, according to the PCB chairman, but “additional work needed to be done.”
“Pakistan has a long way to go in terms of fielding,” he said. “I’ve only been at the PCB for three months, yet it feels like I’ve been there for 30. Holidays are now a tremendous blessing in my life.”
