Global lender World Bank will host on Tuesday a consultative dialogue on the ‘Banking on Equality’ strategy of the State Bank of Pakistan.
The policy was developed by SBP to reduce the gender disparity in Pakistan’s banking sector, according to World Bank Country Director Najy Benhassine.
“Which measures can bring a shift towards business practices that support women in #Pakistan? Join our discussion on Tuesday, February 23 at 5pm,” World Bank official said on Twitter.
SBP Governor Reza Baqir and Deputy Governor Sima Kamil will be part of the council.
