World Record! Pakistan Plants 50 Thousand Saplings In A Minute

In Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan has achieved a world record by planting 50,000 seedlings in one minute. According to reports, 13,000 students in Gujranwala planted 50,000 seedlings in under 60 seconds, breaking the global record for the most significant such plantation initiative.

Malik Ameen Aslam, Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) for Environment, praised the kids for breaking the global record.

India previously held the global record for planting the most saplings in one minute. With 37,000 saplings planted in one minute, India had the world record, surpassing Pakistan.

According to Ameen Aslam, Prime Minister Imran Khan recently inaugurated the world’s largest Miyawaki forest near Lahore. According to him, the current government is focused on reducing environmental risks by planting as many plants as possible.
