As compare to the last year, in 2022, Dubai has multiplied the number of International overnight visitors it warm welcomed.
The Emirates got 14.36 million visitors in 2022, increasing 97% YoY from 7.28 million visitors arrived in 2021, as per data shared by DET (Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism).
However, with this in 2019, the emirate has closed in on its pre-pandemic visitation of 16.73 million.
Moreover, the occupancy on average basis in 2022 at 73%, the highest in the world, grew from 67% in 2021.
The count is just short of the 75% occupancy in the pre-pandemic period of 2019.
