World’s Largest Cruise Ship ‘Icon of the Seas’ Set to Sail on it’s First Journey on 27 January 2024

The biggest ship in the world, the Icon of the Seas, is about to start its first journey. This enormous ship, owned by Royal Caribbean, is five times larger than the Titanic. It will set sail from Miami, Florida, on January 27, 2024, after completing inspections in Ponsai, Puerto Rico.

This ship is massive, with 20 decks and room for 5,610 passengers and 2,350 crew members. It offers 40 restaurants, a big swimming pool, a water park with six slides, and a total of 2,805 rooms in 14 different categories.

The Icon of the Seas was delivered to Royal Caribbean in Finland on November 27, 2023. Its first trip will take it to the Caribbean. People are amazed by its size – it weighs 250,800 tons and stands at a height of 1,198 feet.
