Ayesha Naseem, an 18-year-old talented cricketer shocked everyone after announcing her retirement from international cricket.
The news came in on Thursday and as per the details, Ayesha has made this decision to spend the rest of her life according to the teachings of religion. She informed Pakistan Cricket Board about her retirement decision.
The talented cricketer made her international debut playing for Pakistan against Thailand in March 2020. Ayesha has also represented Pakistan in four Women’s ODI as well as four Women’s T20 International matches.
Naseem has racked up a total of 402 runs in her international career. She became a sensation on the internet in January 2023 during her impressive performance against Australia in the first T20I. Ayesha scored 24 runs in 20 balls which includes three sixes and a four.
Her brilliant performance also captured the attention of legendary Wasim Akram who appreciated her performance in a tweet.
Ayesha Naseem’s retirement from the world of Cricket comes as saddening news for her fans.
