Shehroze Kashif, a Pakistani mountaineer, has set two new world records with his two successful expeditions to the world’s highest peaks, Everest (8,849m) and K2 (8,611m).
Shehroze Kashif, 19, has been recognised by Guinness World Records as the world’s youngest climber to summit the world’s two tallest mountains in the same year within three months.
Kashif also proclaimed the incredible achievement on Twitter. “This is something truly unique, and as a Pakistani, I am ecstatic to be able to share this news with you all,” he said.
The teen climber stated he obtained both records from GWR and thanked everyone for their prayers. He concluded, “This is for you, Pakistan.”
