Islamabad Police Rescue Abducted Foreigner, Stop $100,000 (PKR 28 Million) Ransom Demand

Islamabad Police have safely rescued a foreign national who was reportedly abducted at gunpoint from the capital’s G-8 sector.

According to police, the alleged kidnappers demanded $100,000, equivalent to around Rs. 28 million, for his release.

Police teams used technical resources and human intelligence to trace the suspects and locate the victim. He was successfully recovered from the Sihala area during an intelligence-based operation.

Authorities have arrested nine alleged suspects in connection with the kidnapping. Police also recovered three vehicles, cash and mobile phones allegedly linked to the incident.

The operation highlights the efforts of Islamabad Police to track down those involved and ensure the safe recovery of the abducted individual.
