21 venues have been confirmed for the 35th National Games, which will take place in Karachi from May 1-9, 2025. The Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) approved these venues after a thorough inspection by a three-member committee. The decision ensures that top facilities are available for athletes competing in various sports.
Athletics events will be held at PNS Karsaz, which features a newly installed tartan track. The National Sports Training and Coaching Center’s track was deemed unsuitable, while NED University’s track lacked spectator seating. Rifle shooting will also take place at PNS Karsaz.
Different sports will be hosted across Karachi at the following venues:
- Karate and Baseball: NED University
- Archery and Jujitsu: Dow University, Gulshan-e-Iqbal
- Badminton: Sindh Sports Board Complex, Nazimabad
- Basketball: Habib Public School
- Bodybuilding: Bahria Auditorium, Karsaz
- Boxing: People’s Sports Complex, Lyari
- Football and Volleyball: KPT Sports Complex
- Gymnastics: College of Physical Education, University Road
- Hockey: KHA Hockey Ground, Gulshan-e-Iqbal
- Judo: Sindh Youth Club, Gulistan-e-Johar
- Tennis and Kabaddi: Naya Nazimabad Gymkhana
- Swimming: KMC Sports Complex
- Table Tennis: Islamia Club
- Taekwondo: Scout Center, Gulshan-e-Iqbal
- Weightlifting: Scouts Auditorium, YMCA
- Wrestling: Kakri Sports Complex
- Tug of War, Squash, Rugby, and Netball: National Sports Training and Coaching Center
- Rowing: Boat Club
- Sailing: PNS Dockyard
Sindh Sports Minister Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh announced that the opening and closing ceremonies will be held at Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey Stadium. Around 10,000 athletes and officials from all provinces, including teams from Army, Navy, Air Force, WAPDA, Railways, Police, and the Higher Education Commission, will participate in this major national sporting event.
