5-Years-Old Girl Ordered Toys Worth $3000 On an Online Store From Her Mother’s Phone

A Massachusetts mom experienced quite a shock earlier this week when Amazon deliveries costing thousands of dollars started to show up on her door. Before the order could be canceled, some of the products that couldn’t be returned arrived at her location.

The opportunity to purchase the goods, which included cowgirl boots, motorcycles, and a toy jeep, was taken by her five-year-old daughter when she got her mother’s phone.

Jessica Nunes claims that she and her daughter Lila were in their car on the way home when the five-year-old was given to use her phone, with the expectation that she would play games. She had no idea that Lila would use her mother’s Amazon account to make orders for thousands of dollars.

Jessica received an email in the morning informing her that her things had been sent. The mother looked through her Amazon order history and saw that someone had ordered a toy jeep, 10 sets of cowgirl boots, and 10 toy motorcycles.

Jessica stated that rather than punishing Lila, she made sure that her daughter learned something from the experience. The mother stated, “I did tell her that maybe if she acts right, behaves, and helps out around the house we can get her a bike that’s more targeted towards her age range”.
