Recently, CM Murad Ali Shah stated that almost 3 to 6 months would be required to dry out the rain and flood water from Sindh.
Suraj Durrani was also present with CM as acting governor of Sindh.
He stated that approximately 1500 people died and thousands of houses were washed out because of havoc flood and rainfall.
He informed that around 50 billion of livestock by the victims and 350 billions ruppee lost by the farmers.
CM further said that they have communicated with United Nations Secretary General to send medicines and other important items as there is a need of it, not about funds.
CM informed that Government have devised programme for rehabilitation. Almost 12.5 millions of people are being affected by flood and around 18,000 people have been migrated to Karachi and they have a record of it.
Secretary General UN said that he visited several flood hit areas but haven’t seen such destruction.
CM have been questioned about load shedding in such hit weather in Karachi, Murad Ali Shah stated that they have informed the PM and power supply firms that they are not satisfied with their work.
