PCB Sings 2025 Champions Trophy Hosting Rights Agreement With ICC

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has formally signed an agreement with the International Cricket Council (ICC) to host the 2025 Champions Trophy, making its comeback after an eight-year hiatus.

Zaka Ashraf, Chairman of the PCB Management Committee, and Jonathan Hall, ICC General Counsel, were present at the signing ceremony in Dubai, with an emphasis on robust security measures.

The tournament will feature eight teams—Pakistan, India, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Afghanistan, England, and Bangladesh—utilizing the ODI format.

The return of the Champions Trophy adds excitement to the cricket calendar, following its last edition in 2017.
