New Gwadar Airport to be Opened to Flights in August

The spokesperson for the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority shared that the new Gwadar International Airport is expected to start flights in August, and it costs Rs51 billion, with a Rs34 billion grant from China.

In 2024, there are plans for various aviation projects, including building the Muridke Aerodrome, moving the current Walton Aerodrome, and starting seven projects by the CAA. These include a multi-storeyed car parking for Bacha Khan International Airport and upgrading taxiways at Multan Airport.

Other developments involve extending and upgrading Sukkur Airport, finishing the Allama Iqbal Airport terminal building, and expanding it within two and a half years.
