In the fourth match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine, Quetta Gladiators emerged victorious over Lahore Qalandars by five wickets at the Gaddafi Stadium on Monday.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Qalandars set a target of 188 runs for the Gladiators. They managed to achieve this target on the first ball of the 20th over.
Sahibzada Farhan was the leading scorer for the Qalandars with 62 runs, while Jahandad Khan contributed aggressively with 45 runs, including four sixes and three fours in just 17 balls. Sikandar Raza and Rassie van der Dussen added 18 and 15 runs respectively to the team’s total.
In response, Quetta Gladiators successfully chased down the target, reaching 188 runs with five balls remaining. Khawaja Nafay played an unbeaten inning of 60 runs, smashing three sixes and four fours in his 31-ball innings.
Mohammad Hasnain and Aqeel Hussain took two wickets each for the Gladiators, while Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Wasim, and Abrar Ahmed claimed one wicket each.
