Sazgar has introduced another imported car to Pakistan called the GWM Tank 500 HEV, following the launch of the Ora 03 EV. This luxury hybrid SUV has three rows of seats and can accommodate up to 7 people. It is priced at PKR 4.5 crore, and customers need to pay a deposit of PKR 1.0 crore to book it. Deliveries are expected to take around 3-4 months.
The Tank 500 is a bit bigger than the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. It is powered by a strong 2.0L turbocharged petrol hybrid engine, which can produce 346hp and 615Nm of torque. The car comes with many features such as a large multimedia screen, leather seats, panoramic sunroof, and advanced safety systems like airbags and lane departure warning.
Moreover, the Tank 500 has an intelligent 4×4 system with 11 driving modes to handle different types of roads. It is considered a rival to the Toyota LC Prado and is likely to appeal to wealthy buyers in Pakistan.
