Intel Just Launched the ‘World’s Fastest’ CPU with Price Tag of Nearly Rs. 2 Lacsl

Intel recently announced its latest and greatest CPU, the Intel Core i9-14900KS. It’s like the big brother of the previous Core i9-14900K chip. This new CPU is all about speed, boasting a super-fast out-of-the-box frequency of 6.2GHz, which is faster than any other chip out there. Intel promises it will give a big performance boost compared to the older one.

The Core i9-14900KS is a powerhouse, with 24 cores (split into eight P-cores and 16 E-cores) and 32 threads. It also packs a hefty 36MB of Intel Smart Cache and has a thermal design power (TDP) of 150 watts. That means it can handle a lot of tasks at once without breaking a sweat.

Just like other CPUs in its family, this one works with both DDR4 and DDR5 RAM. You can load it up with up to 192GB of DDR4-3200 MT/s memory or DDR5-5600. It’s also compatible with either a Z690 or Z790 motherboard and comes with 20 PCIe lanes. Sixteen of those lanes run at lightning-fast PCIe 5.0 speed, while the rest run at PCIe 4.0 speed.

Even though this new model has a lot in common with the 14900K, it’s all about that speed. While the 14900K is still powerful, the 14900KS kicks it up a notch with its blazing-fast 6.2GHz clock speed. Plus, it shares the same core count and cache size, but it does draw a bit more power at 150 watts compared to the 125 watts of the older model.
