Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar Arrived in Pakistan

Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar has arrived in Islamabad to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting.

His plane landed at Noor Khan Airbase, but no meetings with Pakistani officials are scheduled during his visit. Jaishankar’s presence at the SCO meeting reflects ongoing diplomatic interactions between the countries within the framework of the organization.

Earlier, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan also arrived in Islamabad for the summit, where he was greeted by Federal Minister Musadiq Malik. The SCO summit aims to gather leaders and officials from member countries to discuss important issues related to regional cooperation, security, and economic development.

This meeting is an opportunity for representatives from various countries to engage in dialogue and explore ways to strengthen relationships in the region. While no direct talks between India and Pakistan are planned, the event itself underscores the significance of maintaining diplomatic channels through multilateral forums like the SCO.

The discussions held at the summit will likely focus on collaboration in areas such as security, trade, and cultural exchange, helping to build cooperation among participating nations.
