“This monumental project, one of Pakistan’s largest solar installations within a single production facility, increases the total capacity to 14MW, following the successful completion of previous 4.2MW projects by ESL Renewables. Collectively, these installations will reduce 9,200 metric tons of carbon emissions annually, making a significant environmental impact,” added Mr. Anwar.

We are honored to partner with Alkaram Textile Mills on this green energy initiative, which reflects our shared commitment to innovation and sustainability,” said Mr. Maroof Ahmed Zuberi, Chief Operating Officer of ESL Renewables Pvt. Ltd.Together, Alkaram and ESL are dedicated to fostering sustainability and innovation in the energy and textile sectors.”

Previous Projects

The previous installations at Alkaram Textile Mills utilized 3,718 Jinko Tiger Neo Bifacial Solar Panels, each rated at 595 watts. These state-of-the-art panels were paired with 18 Sungrow SG110CX inverters, known for their exceptional efficiency and corrosion resistance. The system also incorporated special 1500V DC cables, tin-coated for high-temperature and UV protection, ensuring top performance.

To maximize bifacial impact and energy generation, a custom-designed elevated structure with a dome shell installation was used, coated with white paint. Additionally, a Seven Sensor weather station was installed to optimize performance under diverse conditions. The project design was internationally approved, having been rigorously tested and validated by European consultants, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

New Project Highlights

The new 9.8MW project builds on this success and includes advanced features to enhance performance and sustainability:
