Italy’s Sets New Visa Requirements for Pakistanis

Italy has introduced new financial requirements for Pakistanis applying for a visa, ensuring that travelers can cover their expenses during their visit. Known for its scenic beauty and rich history, Italy remains a popular destination for tourists worldwide, including Pakistanis.

To secure a visa, applicants must provide a recent bank statement, dated no older than 30 days, showing they have sufficient funds for their trip. The Italian authorities require a minimum of 30 euros per day of stay. For a month-long visit, applicants must have at least 900 euros in their accounts.

In addition to the financial proof, travelers must also submit evidence of confirmed accommodation. Failure to meet these financial conditions may result in visa rejection, affecting many Pakistani tourists hoping to explore Italy’s renowned cultural and historical sites.

These requirements, aimed at ensuring travelers can support themselves during their stay in Italy or other Schengen countries, emphasize the need for proper financial preparation before applying.
