With the Champions Trophy 2025 and the ongoing Tri-nation series set to take place in Karachi, the city’s traffic police have announced a special traffic plan to manage the expected rush. Matches will be held at the National Stadium on various dates, and several roads will face restrictions to ensure smooth movement around the venue.
According to the plan, heavy vehicles will not be allowed on key routes leading to the stadium. Roads connecting Karsaz, Millennium, and Hassan Square will have controlled access, with alternative routes suggested for regular commuters. Heavy traffic coming from Sohrab Goth and Liaquatabad will be diverted to nearby roads to prevent congestion.
For spectators attending the matches, designated parking areas have been assigned near the stadium. Fans arriving from different areas are advised to use the National Coaching Center and China Ground for parking. Traffic officials urge citizens to follow these guidelines to avoid unnecessary delays.
In addition, parking near Sharae Faisal, one of the city’s busiest roads, has been strictly prohibited to maintain a steady traffic flow. Authorities are working to ensure a hassle-free experience for both commuters and cricket fans.
As Karachi gears up for exciting matches, following the planned traffic arrangements will help make the event enjoyable for everyone.
