Pakistan Army Wins National Boxing Championship

The Pakistan Army has won the 41st National Elite Men’s and 5th National Elite Women’s Boxing Championship. The tournament took place at KPT Sports Complex in Karachi from February 10 to 15.

More than 300 players and officials participated in the championship. Teams from different organizations, including the Army, Navy, Pakistan Air Force (PAF), WAPDA, and regional teams, competed against each other.

The Pakistan Army performed exceptionally well in both the men’s and women’s categories, finishing in first place. Their strong performance helped them dominate the competition and secure the championship title.

The event was organized by the Pakistan Boxing Federation with the support of the Pakistan Army. It aimed to promote boxing in Pakistan and help local boxers gain recognition on the international stage.

The final match was attended by Lieutenant General Owais Dastgir, who also distributed prizes to the winners. His presence added to the excitement of the event and motivated the athletes.

This championship provided a great platform for Pakistani boxers to showcase their skills and gain valuable experience. With such tournaments, Pakistan hopes to develop world-class boxers who can represent the country in international competitions.
