Army Chief General Asim Munir visited Bahawalpur, where he inaugurated three major projects: the CMH Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS), Innovista Cholistan, and the Integrated Combat Simulator Arena. These initiatives aim to improve medical education, technology, and military training, according to the military’s media department.
At CIMS, General Munir met with university students and encouraged them to focus on their studies and skill development. He highlighted the vital role of young people in the country’s future and assured them of the Army’s support in their educational and professional growth.
Later, he visited Bahawalpur Cantonment to assess operational readiness and training activities. Speaking to officers and troops, he praised their commitment and emphasized that continuous training is essential to handle modern security challenges effectively.
