Bangladesh Orders Reprint of Passport Note: “This Passport is Not Valid for Isra-el”

Bangladesh has brought back the line “valid for all countries except Israel” on its passports. This decision was made after a huge protest in Dhaka, where more than 100,000 people came together to show their support for Palestine.

This phrase was removed from Bangladeshi passports in 2021, but even then, the country did not recognize Israel as a state. By bringing the statement back, Bangladesh is sending a clear message that it continues to stand with Palestine and supports their struggle.

The government’s decision shows that Bangladesh is sticking to its foreign policy. Political leaders, along with the public, have shown strong support for Palestine. The recent protest was a powerful example of this unity. People from all walks of life came out to raise their voices, asking the government to take action in favor of the Palestinian cause.

Bangladesh has always supported the rights of Palestinians. Even though the passport wording was removed earlier, the country never changed its policy. The return of the statement is a reminder to the world that Bangladesh has not changed its stance, and that it still believes in justice and peace for Palestine.

This move has been welcomed by many citizens and leaders. It is being seen as a strong step that shows Bangladesh is not afraid to stand by its beliefs, even when facing global pressure. The government wants to show that its people care deeply about global issues, especially those related to human rights.
